All models feature aspheric lenses of lightweight PXM with cera-tec hard coating for scratch and static resistance.

The System Vario is battery (therefore portable) or mains operated. The mains operated models has an integrated brightness control switch for variable light and a 2-metre long cable.

Generally this type of magnifiers should be used whilst wearing any reading prescribed glasses.

Battery models require 2 C-sizes.
